Refund & Cancellation Policy
Updated 13 October 2026
Ad-free plans remove ads from ZapConvert. Every converter stays free either way, so you can try the whole service before paying. This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If a plan has a major failure, for example it does not remove ads or does not work as described, you are entitled to a refund. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
Cancelling a subscription
- Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time.
- After cancelling, you stay ad-free until the end of the period you have paid for. No further charges are made.
- To cancel, open the Ad-Free Active menu at the top of any page and choose Manage subscription, or email [email protected] from the address you paid with.
Change-of-mind refunds
Beyond what the law requires, we offer these refunds once per customer:
- Yearly and Lifetime Pass: within 7 days of your first purchase.
- Yearly renewal: within 7 days of the renewal charge, if you meant to cancel.
- Monthly: no change-of-mind refunds. Cancel at any time and you will not be charged again.
We do not refund part-used subscription periods, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires it.
What happens to your key
A refunded purchase’s ad-free key is deactivated straight away, and ads return on your next visit. Keys tied to a payment dispute or chargeback are also deactivated. If you think a dispute was raised in error, contact us first: we can usually sort it out faster than your bank.
How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address on your receipt, with the purchase date and the reason. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars. Any tax that applies in your country is calculated and shown at checkout. Your bank may charge a currency conversion fee. See also our Terms of Service.
